I have read that the new Kodak NexPress M700 is based on the Canon imagePRESS C7000VP print engine. From what a salesman said at GraphExpo the NexPress M700 has more user-replaceable components than a Canon ImagePress C7000VP. He says it, the Kodak will deliver us greater uptime and productivity. Kodak says that with their solution there will be less service calls. Also, if the Kodak has less service calls then the cost of ownership to own a Kodak Nexpress m700 will be less than if my boss buys us a Canon ImagePress C7000VP.
